My Home Builders is a private-client construction management practice in Ottawa. We manage the construction of custom waterfront and estate homes — and energy-efficient, purpose-built income properties — for owners across Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. We are not a general contractor. We are your representative, on an open book, with no markup on a single trade.
Twenty years, fifteen homes, one standard.
The practice is personally directed by Peyman S. Ghasemi, Principal and Construction Manager, whose career combines a civil-engineering background with more than twenty years and fifteen luxury residences across Ontario — new builds, joint-venture developments and owner-managed estates.
My Home Builders was founded on a simple conviction: that the person who manages your build should sit on your side of the table, not the contractor's. Every cost is visible, every trade contract is held in your own name, and a single senior point of judgement is accountable from the first conversation to the final key.

Two kinds of building, one discipline.
For families, we build custom waterfront and estate homes designed around the site and the life it will hold. For investors, we deliver energy-efficient, purpose-built rental properties that qualify for the current HST, financing and tax incentives. Both are managed the same way — competitively tendered, transparently costed, and held to a single standard.

How is My Home Builders different from a general contractor?
You hold every trade contract in your own name, and the practice takes no markup — a general contractor's typical 12 to 18 percent margin stays with you. You see exactly what the building costs, because you see what we pay.
Where does My Home Builders build?
Ottawa and Eastern Ontario — the west end and Ottawa River waterfront communities, Kanata, Orleans, Nepean, Prescott-Russell, and the Outaouais. Select projects elsewhere are considered by scope.
How many projects do you take on?
No more than two new homes a year, most often by introduction — so the principal stays directly involved from first drawings to final completion.
